Terminal  head

The terminal head that holds either the terminal block or a transmitter can take various forms and be manufactured from a number of materials (plastic, varnished aluminum, stainless steel). The connection to the remaining sensor components and cable entries is protected to at least IP65. Most of  the delivered terminal heads have internal dimensions equal to the DIN standard 43729 (Form B) as well as a thermometer connection. As electrical connection cable glands (standard clamping range 5-9 mm) as well as plugs are available. The protection tube assembly is screwed in the thread at the bottom side of the terminal head.

 

TA30A

 

 

New E+H terminal head made of aluminum with hinged cover (low) and screw. The head can be fitted with a terminal block or a head transmitter with plug-on display (optional). Protection type  IP 66/68 (depending on the electrical connection).

New E+H terminal head made of aluminum with hinged cover (high) and screw. Same design as TA30A but with high cover. Thus the head can be fitted with 2 terminal blocks respectively head transmitters
(no display).

Advantages:

  • Easy insertion of the connection cable due to a spiral cable channel
  • Easy accessibility to  the transmitters / terminal blocks
  • High terminal head means that 2 head transmitters can be fitted (when using 2 x Pt100 e.g. redundant measurement)
  • 2 cable entries orderable

TA20A

 

 

The head type TA20A is the aluminum basic housing for E+H temperature sensors. It comes in the company colors and is delivered without any extra costs.

The head type TA20D is a further aluminum basic housing for E+H temperature sensors and is also delivered in the E+H company colors.

TA20J

 

 

The head TA20J consists of a stainless steel housing. It can be delivered with an LC-display (4-digit) and operates with 4…20-mA transmitters.

  • High terminal head means that 2 head transmitters can be fitted (when using 2xPt100 e.g.  redundant measurement), without display

TA20R

 

 

The head type TA20R is recomended for use in hygienic applications due to its material (stainless steel) and its "easily cleaned" construction.

The head type TA20B is a polyamide housing in black or white.

The head type TA20W (BUS-Typ) is a round grey head manufactured out of aluminum. It comes with a snap on locking system for sealing the cover.
